The Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD) has launched an estimated fee calculating service for releasing new and old licenses as confirmation of its continuity in developing e-services and to support the rapid shift toward smart government by adopting the latest technologies for the services and facilitates provided to investors in Sharjah.
The Department, through such smart applications, aims to offer highly efficient services to investors in multiple languages any time and in all places, in order to save time and effort.
Sultan Abdullah bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, SEDD Chairman, said that the department works to harness all human, material, and technical capabilities and to deliver new and improved e-services that are aimed at simplifying procedures for customers. “In line with the wise directives of H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and the follow up of H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Executive Council, we work to apply the concept of smart government through cooperation and coordination with various partners and authorities in Sharjah,†he added.
SEDD carries out its work with a high degree of quality and accuracy to attain the country’s strategy in following the directives of the wise leadership of UAE that seek to ease things for people by offering the best services via the use of modern and advanced technologies.
Fahad Al Khamiri, Director of Registration and Licensing Department, said that SEDD does all that is needed to facilitate procedures for investors so to save their effort and time by improving its electronic and smart services.
He added that the estimated fee calculating service will enable customers, as well as investors, to carry out their transactions without visiting the Department’s headquarters or branches by simply using its website and applications.
