AL AIN / GULF TIME

Al Ain Museum successfully concluded its vibrant three-day programme celebrating International Museum Day under the theme “Uniting a Divided World,” welcoming visitors from across the community to engage in a series of immersive educational workshops and interactive cultural experiences from 16 to 18 May. Marking the first International Museum Day celebration since the museum’s reopening in October 2025, the programme reflected the museum’s commitment to fostering cultural dialogue, community participation, and accessible learning experiences that connect audiences with the UAE’s rich heritage and history.
“Celebrating International Museum Day for the first time following the reopening of Al Ain Museum marks an important milestone in reaffirming the museum’s role as a dynamic cultural institution that serves the community,” said Omar Al Kaabi, Director of Al Ain Museum, adding that “The strong visitor turnout and active participation across the programme demonstrate the growing public engagement with museums as spaces for dialogue, learning, and cultural exchange. Through these interactive experiences, we continue to strengthen meaningful connections between audiences and the heritage, identity, and values of the UAE.”
