Flights operated by Emirates Airlines between the Dubai and the Belgian capital have been affected by the closure of Brussels airport. A spokesperson for Emirates Airline said flight EK183 from Dubai to Brussels would be diverted to Dusseldorf, Germany.
“We are looking at alternative arrangements in Dusseldorf to get our passengers to their final destinations,” the spokesman said. Return flight EK184, scheduled to depart later today from Brussels to Dubai has been cancelled, the spokesman said. “We are monitoring the situation in Brussels closely. The safety of our passengers, crew and staff is always our top priority and will not be compromised,” the airline spokesman said.
