WGS 2024 is contributing to finding appropriate solutions to challenges facing Arab world: Mauritanian official

Mustafa Yimbab, Advisor to the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports in Mauritania, confirmed that his country’s delegation raised many of the challenges facing young people in the Arab region, including Mauritania.
He noted that the discussions taking place at the World Governments Summit (WGS) 2024 are contributing to finding appropriate solutions to the challenges facing the Arab world.
The Mauritanian official told the Emirates News Agency (WAM) in a statement during his participation in the WGS 2024, that some of the challenges raised during the first day’s sessions were related to migration, job creation, keeping pace with technology and artificial intelligence, as well as social challenges.
The Advisor to the Mauritanian Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports said that governments in Arab countries can overcome the various challenges created by globalisation, given the common Arab identity that unites these countries.
The WGS 2024, which is held under the theme ‘Shaping Future Governments’, kicked off today in Dubai and will continue until 14th February with the participation of more than 25 heads of state and government.
