His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, discussed with President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, ways to strengthen the friendly relations between the two countries, as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest.
This came when Sheikh Mohamed received the President of Tajikistan, who is currently on a two-day official visit to the UAE.
At the commencement of the meeting, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi welcomed President Rahmon and hoped the visit would further contribute to the development of friendly relations and co-operation between the UAE and the Republic of Tajikistan in various fields.
They also discussed ways to strengthen and develop bilateral relations between the two countries to wider levels and prospects in the fields of economy, investment, culture, tourism, and energy to serve mutual interests of the two friendly peoples and countries.
Sheikh Mohamed stressed during the meeting that the UAE, led by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, always seeks to strengthen co-operation with the Republic of Tajikistan, and work closely together to develop them to achieve common objectives sought after by the two countries in the areas of trade and economic exchange, and setting up vital development projects.
The President of Tajikistan expressed his satisfaction at his presence in the UAE, appreciating the good reception and hospitality accorded to him. He stressed his country’s desire to strengthen co-operation with the UAE in the best interests of the two friendly peoples.
The two leaders welcomed the mutual efforts to promote economic co-operation to achieve further growth.
