UAE, New Zealand discuss regional, international issues

Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, received here on Sunday Minister of Foreign Affairs of New Zealand, Murray McCully.
The meeting discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance them, the outcome of the recent visit of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to New Zealand, latest regional and international developments, as well as issues of mutual interest.
Dr. Anwar Gargash expressed the UAE’s interest in developing relations with New Zealand in all fields and praised the cooperation between the two countries in international arenas.
Minister Murray McCully applauded the ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries and said New Zealand was looking forward to building strong partnership in all domains.
The meeting was attended by Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Jarman, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for Political Affairs, Dr Jassem Mohammed Al Khaloufi, Director of the Arab Affairs at the Ministry and Fahad Obaid Al Taffaq, Director of Economic and International Cooperation Affairs at the
Ministry.
