Clara Gaymard, President of the Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society, said that Global Women’s Forum Dubai “is not about how the world sees women, but how women see the world.”
In a ringing endorsement to the ‘innovative spirit of Dubai, Clara Gaymard, President of the Women’s Forum for the Economy & Society, issued a clarion call to the world to ‘Let’s Innovate’.
In her welcome address at the Global Women’s Forum Dubai, Gaymard, expressed her “deep gratitude” to Mona Al Marri, President of the Dubai Women’s Establishment (DWE), as well as to Shamsa Saleh, DWE CEO and General Coordinator of the UAE Gender Balance Council.
“This historic gathering – the first-ever Women’s Forum event in this region – could not have happened without the DWE’s unwavering commitment and sheer hard work,” Gaymard said.
She also thanked Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, President Ameenah Gurib-Fakim of Mauritius; Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi, UAE Minister of State for Tolerance, Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation, and many other distinguished leaders.
In a tribute to the innovative spirit of Dubai, Gaymard told delegates that “joining us in Dubai we have some of the world’s finest minds and leaders.
