Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Minister of Infrastructure Development, stressed the importance of developing Arab land transportation in driving economic growth and enhancing communication among Arab states. He added that the road transport sector is one of the most effective factors in stimulating the economic, social and cultural fields.
Dr Al Nuaimi made these comments on Tuesday during the opening of the two-day Arab Union of Land Transport Meetings at its 56th General Assembly at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
