Registration for the 10th edition of Sharjah Food Festival, organised by Sharjah Investment and Development Authority, Shurooq, is now open. The event will take place from March 31 to April 9 and is open to everyone including individuals, families and restaurants. Registration closes on March 15.
Ahmed Obaid Al Qaseer, Chief Operating Officer of Shurooq, said, “We are pleased to announce that registration for the 10th edition of Sharjah Food Festival is now open and we invite all individuals, companies, restaurants and food outlets to participate in this year’s food festival. We hope to see people who love cooking and food including amateur chefs at the event. There will be many cooking competitions and stalls selling various food products from around the world. Participants will get a chance to enjoy different cuisines and also learn how to prepare them.”
The 10-day festival will feature live cooking shows by celebrity chefs, cooking competitions and also fruit and ice-carving workshops. Shurooq is expecting a huge turnout of visitors at the event as it is taking place during school spring holiday and also it is taking place in four different locations in the Emirate of Sharjah.
