Mohamed bin Zayed receives calls from Afghan, Indonesian president

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Sunday received a telephone call from President Joko Widodo of Indonesia and President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani of Afghanistan.
During the course of the call, Sheikh Mohamed and President Joko Widodo discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations and cooperation, particularly in economic, commercial and investment fields.
They also reviewed regional and international developments and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
In another call, Sheikh Mohamed and President Ghani discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation between the two friendly countries. They also reviewed the reconstruction efforts undertaken by the UAE in the interest of the people of Afghanistan.
President Ghani thanked the UAE for its unlimited support to Afghanistan and its people.
Sheikh Mohamed and President Ghani also touched on regional and international developments, particularly the counter-terrorism efforts and means to enhance security and stability in the region.
