Round one of a tour promoting investment in the UAE has kicked off in Japan, with the participation and organisation of the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
During the tour, which visited the Japanese cities of Osaka, Fukuoka and Tokyo between October 11 and 13, UAE delegation, which was represented by UAE Embassy in Tokyo, and Ministry of Economy, met over 300 investors and businesspeople from small and medium enterprises. Joining them were delegates from Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The UAE delegation was headed by Mohammed Al Zaabi, Director of Trade Promotion and Investment at the Ministry of Economy, and Khaled Omran Al Amiri, UAE Ambassador to Japan. The tour, which is part of a series of planned visits, aimed to enhance UAE-Japan cooperation through highlighting the UAE economy, its vital investment sectors, particularly in the areas of energy, industry, education, health, food and halal food, tourism, innovation and entrepreneurship.
