Marina Mall, the capital’s leading shopping destination, attracted over 2,500 visitors of all ages to the Tom and Jerry show and activity area during its ‘15 Years of Inspiring Moments’ festival. Over the course of the two-week festivities, visitors experienced 15 days of fun-filled activities at Abu Dhabi’s favourite mall.
Thousands of visitors across the capital made their way to Marina Mall to enjoy hours of entertainment by childhood favourites, Tom and Jerry, as they performed their skits live on stage. Food-lovers had the opportunity to indulge in tasty treats with scenic views next to the Marina Eye from a number of food trucks including Burger House and Huguette to Guy Crêperies, Man’oushe Street and Meylas.
Mall-goers also tapped into their competitive side as they teamed-up to compete in a series of life-size board games including scrabble and UNO, while little ones got creative in a Warner Bros. arts and crafts workshop. The anniversary festival also featured sales at participating stores, giving 15 lucky shoppers an opportunity to win big prizes at a raffle draw on April 11.
Commenting on the festivities, Tarek Tohami, Acting General Manager at Marina Mall, said: “We are happy to see that thousands of visitors joined us to celebrate our 15th anniversary. We hope to continue to create more inspiring moments throughout the year for the whole family to enjoy. Finally, I would like to congratulate the lucky 15 shoppers on behalf of the Marina Mall Abu Dhabi family!”
In addition to 15-60% off at select stores, 15 lucky shoppers won a series of exciting prizes including a diamond jewellery set worth AED 70,000, a gold Porsche watch worth AED 28,000, airline tickets to Europe, among others at a live raffle draw that took place on April 11.
All proceeds from ticket sales were donated to ‘Let Hope Shine’ for an autism charity organization, which is an initiative by Marina Mall that aims to improve lives and create opportunities for people around the world.
