Innovations in skis, boots, helmets for 2016-2017 season

This year’s new ski gear is
all about performance and comfort.
Here’s a look at some of the latest, most innovative products heading for the slopes this season.

Salomon X Pro Custom Heat
If your feet are often cold in ski boots, then Salomon’s X Pro Custom Heat with heated liner are just the job. They can even be fitted with a portable sensor — easily inserted around any ski boot — for monitoring performance.

Lange XT Freetour
The latest ski boots from Lange — available in bright green, orange
or yellow — promise the skiability
of piste boots combined with the easy walking of ski-touring boots. Plus, at 1.6 kg, they’re lighter than Alpine boots.
Featuring WTR Ultra Grip technology, the soles have inserts to ensure high performance for freetouring skiers exploring off piste.

Salomon X-MAX X12 + XT12 T
Two layers of titanium, carbon inserts and a 100% wood core promise phenomenal power and precision on the slopes.
Dynastar Speed Zone TI 16
Designed for tackling hard-snow conditions, the Speed Zone TI 16 with Powerdrive technology are made for confident skiers, offering comfort, power and safety.

Rossignol Super 7 HD
The new Super 7 skis from Rossignol are designed with freeriders
in mind.
With Carbon Alloy Matrix technology, they’re suitable for all types of snow, particularly powdery snow.

Salomon Ranger2 C.Air
This low-profile helmet from Salomon has EPS 4D technology, using a special foam to absorb the force of impacts.
The new removable and washable liner helps keep moisture at bay while maintaining an optimal temperature. A ventilation system helps regulate temperature with three air-flow settings.

Rossignol VISOR
The latest VISOR Lady and VISOR Dual Lense helmets from Rossignol are lightweight and comfortable thanks to precise size adjustment. The Dual Lense can be adapted to suit various conditions thanks to its interchangeable visors. It’s also compatible with sunglasses.
