Strategically based at the Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah border, it aims at sustaining market lead in the premium segment for Commercial Vehicles and enhancing higher efficiencies and faster response levels to customers. With the purpose of strengthening its presence in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, in this segment, the facility comes equipped with 8 workshop bays, parts warehouse, and 35 parking bays, enforced with the latest technology in-line with Mercedes-Benz worldwide standards.
Also acquainted at this exclusive event was the range of new Mercedes-Benz Trucks in the medium-duty segment, represented by the Accelo and the Atego. The compact and agile distribution truck Accelo 915 C is equipped with a fuel-efficient 4-cylinder engine producing 150hp and it comes with an impressive payload of more than 5 tons. The spacious cab of the Accelo with a car-like interior is suitable for a driver and 2 companions.
The Atego 1725 is a robust multipurpose truck, providing a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 17.1 tons. It is powered by a strong 6-cylinder engine that produces 245hp. The Atego’s comfortable day cab is equipped with an on-board diagnosis, which combined with the Anti-lock braking system further enhances the vehicle’s safety. The new range is complemented by the Atego 1418 with its efficient and powerful 4-cyclinder engine generating 177hp.
With a GVW of 14 tons and a 6-speed synchromesh gearbox with a 2 speed rear axle, the Atego 1418 is the perfect truck for inner-city and short distance
distribution transport. Besides topping off the well-known Mercedes-Benz heavy-duty range, all trucks have one in common: proven Mercedes-Benz quality and reliability.
