Ducab engages with the Next-Gen scientists

Ducab, the UAE-based leading manufacturer of high-quality cables and cabling products, is demonstrating how industrial solutions answer real-world problems at the Think Science Competition Exhibition. The fourth edition of the competition and exhibition, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of Emirates Foundation, is taking place from April 17-19 at the Dubai World Center.
During the exhibition, students visiting Ducab’s stand will be introduced to exciting career opportunities within the UAE’s innovation-driven industrial sector. Ducab will be joined at the event by their recently appointed workplace ambassador and founder of the “Ask Ali” website, Ali Al Saloom. As a prominent influencer, he will engage with the future generation of innovators at the event to answer any questions they may have about working in the thriving sector. Students will also witness the unique skills and techniques used by Ducab’s experts to achieve world-class products.
Throughout the event, Ducab will provide educational opportunities for students, demonstrating the implementation of TRIZ and Lean methods in project management; showing how to apply 5s, Kaizen and Six Sigma methods on the shop floor, and showcasing Ducab’s Adopt CSR model and recycling practices. Additionally, the company will exhibit its wide range of products and the innovation that led to their creation, including Flam BICC Fire Performance cables, PetroBICC cables for the oil and gas sector, and NuBICC cables, the first nuclear cables in the world with 60 years of life.
