DEWA organises biz continuity awareness programmes

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA)’s Risk Management department, in collaboration with the UK’s Business Continuity Institute (BCI), has organised a series of programmes to raise awareness about business continuity management. The move is part of DEWA’s on-going commitment to adopting to the highest standards of practice, to assure business continuity in the event of any emergency or disaster, and to make use of all supporting tools to ensure that all standards are met.
“We are pleased to be working alongside the Business Continuity Institute, who have enabled us to provide our employees with training programmes, and courses. This collaboration supports the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to focus on staff development, as our employees are essential
to the growth of Dubai and fuel the on-going development of this city,” said HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA.
