Al Hilal Bank to join conference on Emirati women

Al Hilal Bank is participating as a Silver Sponsor in the ‘Emirati Women: Excellence & Innovation 2016’ Conference, scheduled on March 8, in conjunction with the International Women’s Day. This conference will be held under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Supreme Chairperson of the Family Development Foundation, Chairperson of the UAE Women’s General Union and the Chairwoman of the Supreme Council for Motherhood & Childhood.
Khalid Abdulla Al Khoori, CEO of Al Hilal Bank said: “We commend the outstanding efforts of the Ministry of Interior, the Emirates Intellectual Property Association, and General Women’s Union in organizing this unique conference which reaffirms the continuous support of our wise leadership to strengthen the role of Emirati women and empower them in various sectors.”
Al Hilal Bank’s participation comes in line with its commitment to social responsibility, and its support of the National Strategy for Innovation, which was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. This strategy aims to drive invention and to make the UAE among the most innovative nations in the world, with an advanced position that enables Emirati Women to lead by example on all local, regional and international levels.
Being the first of its kind in the UAE, the Emirati Women Conference will shed light on the leading Emirati women and outline their experiences in the field of innovation and creativity.
Furthermore, the event will honour a host of pioneering
Emirati citizens.
Al Hilal Bank was founded in 2008 by the Abu Dhabi Investment Council, an investment arm of the Abu Dhabi Government with the mission of delivering innovative and fresh banking services adhering to core Islamic values with an authorized capital of AED4 billion.
