Air India will offer discounted tickets for students travelling for educational purposes on all its domestic flights during the lean season of July and August. Students can fly for Rs.3,500 for distances up to 1,000 km and at Rs.5,500 for over 1,000 km.
Tickets must be booked between June 1 and August 31 for travel
during July 1 to August 31.
“Students travelling for various academic reasons like proceeding to join their school, college or to give entrance exam would be able to benefit from this special offer,†the airline said in a statement.
To avail of these special fares, students are required to provide photo copy of the admit card/ examination hall ticket or admission slip/ photo identification of the institution.
These tickets can be booked at Air India’s city and airport booking offices.
