RTA briefs ENOC team on asset management system

The Asset Management Department of Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) briefed a visiting delegation from the Emirates National Oil Company, ENOC, in Dubai on the best practices and processes in asset management.
The orientation began with planning for procurement of new assets, processes of monitoring the performance of assets, listing inventory as well as the numbering and replacing of assets. Visitors were introduced to the features and components of the asset management system used by the department to monitor RTA assets.
Saeed Hamad Al Ramsi, Director of Assets, along with several officials from ENOC and the RTA, attended the meeting.
“The RTA is always keen on boosting co-operation with various service and community entities, be it public offices, semi-government entities or private companies. It also attaches utmost attention to the joint efforts in a bid to realise goals and initiatives aimed at
making people happy.”
