Abdullah bin Zayed, Austrian FM discuss bilateral cooperation

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, discussed, during his meeting on Wednesday with Alexander Schallenberg, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Austria, bilateral relations and the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
The meeting came within the framework of the UAE top diplomat’s working visit to the Republic of Austria, where the two ministers explored opportunities to enhance bilateral cooperation in several sectors, including economic, trade, investment, education, culture, energy and climate action.
The two sides also discussed bilateral cooperation within the framework of international organisations and reviewed the progress of bilateral relations, as the two countries celebrate this year the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between them in 1974.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed stressed the depth of relations with Austria, noting that the two friendly countries are keen to tap the ambitious opportunities available to open up broader horizons for joint cooperation in a way that serves their common interests and benefits their peoples.
The meeting was attended by Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Assistant Minister for Economic and Trade Affairs, and Hamad Al Kaabi, UAE Ambassador to Austria.
