Zayed National Museum, the national museum of the UAE, announces its April Learning and Public Engagement programme, inviting visitors to explore the UAE’s history, culture and heritage through tours, workshops and hands-on creative and educational experiences.
April introduces new programmes alongside updates to existing experiences. On 13 April, Al Dhuha Hour will return with its second session following its initial launch in December 2025. The programme will now take place monthly, combining guided tours with a creative hands-on workshop for senior citizens, including those living with dementia and their caregivers. The April session will open with a botanical eco-printing session using traditional Emirati flowers and plants.
Beyond the museum’s walls, Zayed National Museum will bring information about its galleries, collections and narratives to audiences across the UAE through a programme titled From Museum to Community, an outreach initiative under Multaqa Zayed National Museum that will kick off in April, bringing a series of talks and discussions to cultural institutions across the Emirates and creating space for dialogue with communities, researchers and heritage practitioners.
The museum’s ongoing programme of guided tours and workshops continues, with bilingual tours A Walk Through Our History (available in Emirati Sign Language) and A Walk Among Our Wings and a range of family-friendly workshops including Oasis Weaving, Build Your Museum, Create Your Calming Necklace, Design Your Porcelain Fruit Bowl and Tree of Values. Full details and timings are available in the programme table below.
