The Zakat Fund announced that it has spent AED 44.46 million in medical assistance under its ‘‘Reward and Recovery Initiative.’’
Abdullah bin Aqueeda Al Muhairi, Secretary-General of the Fund, said the health aid was given through the Zakat channel distribution category meant for the poor and the needy.
“The Fund is ready to support poor patients and bear the cost of their treatment,†he affirmed
