UAE pavilion named best at Casablanca Int’l Book Fair

The UAE pavilion was named the best pavilion at the 22nd edition of the Casablanca International Book Fair, being held between February 11-21.
Moroccan Minister of Solidarity, Women, Family and Social Development, Bassima Hakkaoui, presented the award to Director of Indexing and Classification at the UAE Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development, Ahmed Al Jenaibi.
Praising cultural relations with the UAE, Hakkaoui said the award recognises the country’s unique literary and intellectual experiences.
This year, the Moroccan Ministry of Culture, organisers of the book fair, named the UAE as the guest of honour in recognition of its role in publishing in the Arab region and globally.
