Global retail brand TYREPLUS has become the largest car maintenance network worldwide. With its outlets spread all across the Emirates in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Fujairah, Al Ain and Ras Al Khaimah (RAK), TYREPLUS has earned an image of a trustworthy car repair close to you.
Established in 2002, and specialises primarily in Michelin and BF Goodrich tyres, TYREPLUS is offering a wide choice of all major tyre brands, lubricants, batteries, suspension and wide range of car services. It offers its services in 15 countries and has 1700 branches worldwide. The company presently has 64 branches in KSA and 46 branches in other GCC countries.
In a bid to further strengthen its presence in the region, a new TYREPLUS branch was opened by Michelin – a global manufacturer and leader of tyres and travel related services – in the Al Nakheel area of RAK. This is Michelin’s 110th TYREPLUS branch in the GCC. This outlet is franchised to Central Trading Company (CTC) that operates 10 TYREPLUS branches across Dubai and the northern emirates.
“UAE is an integral market for our regional success. Launching our first ever branch in Ras Al Khaimah reaffirms our commitment to cater to our valued customers in the northern emirates. This is also in line with our strategy to serve a wider base of motorists in the UAE and to expand our network to reach 60 outlets in UAE, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar by the end of 2016. Our vision for the GCC region is to reach 180 branches by 2018 and sustain long lasting relationships with our customers,” said Manish Pandey, TYREPLUS Franchise Manager for Michelin AIM.
The new branch comes in the backdrop of a strong sales performance last year. By the end of 2015, total turnover from the TYREPLUS network grew at a sturdy 40 percent across its GCC operations, when compared to the same period in 2014.
The total volume sales growth for tyres was recorded at 20 percent, whereas the car maintenance line witnessed a growth of 28 percent in sales. TYREPLUS opened 16 more outlets for business by the end of 2015.
Miranda Shehata, TYREPLUS Marketing Manager, said, “The goal of TYREPLUS is not only to be the best network, but also offer unique and comprehensive products and services that are customised as per consumers’ needs. We aim to harness state-of-the-art technology to enhance the entire consumer experience. Our technicians are trained against internationals standards and follow a strict process to deliver consumer trust and peace of mind.”
In line with its promise of delivering superior customer satisfaction through a comprehensive mix of products and services, the new branch will be equipped with Michelin certified experts to provide professional services and spare parts maintenance for high-end cars.
RAK is fast emerging as a hotspot for commerce, as evidenced by a recent report by RAK Chamber of Commerce that registered an increase in the number of business licenses issued in 2015 by 8 percent compared to 2014. With 518 establishments, Al Nakheel area – also the location to the new TYREPLUS outlet – has the highest concentration of businesses with 518 establishments or 22 percent of the total share.
With a widespread network, vehicle owners in UAE and neighbouring countries can rely on TYREPLUS as their trusted partner for all tyre and vehicle maintenance needs. TYREPLUS is the first and biggest car maintenance network in the GCC, with over 100 branches across the GCC countries with further expansions in the pipeline to fill the gaps with superior car maintenance service.
