TRA inks deal with ICDL Arabia on digital security

The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) has signed MoU with ICDL Arabia for a
3-year-term, with the aim of cooperating in the areas of developing the necessary skills of government
officials and community segments with regards to digital security and online safety.
The MoU was signed by Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, TRA Director-General, and Jamil Ezzo, Director-General of ICDL Arabia. As per
the agreement, the two parties will work to broaden the IT skills
and competencies of government employees as ordinary users, to
enable them to effectively use IT in office work.
The two parties will also raise awareness on digital security and online safety among government employees and different segments of society. They will aim to enhance the optimal, safe and secure use of modern technological elements,
social media channels and smart
devices in the UAE.
