Tadweer spreads social awareness among new homeowners

Tadweer, the Center of Waste Management, Abu Dhabi, implemented a social awareness initiative for
citizens who were granted new residential units as per the President’s recent decree. Tadweer representatives were present at the Abu Dhabi Municipality during the handing over of keys to the new owners in order to educate them on maintaining proper cleanliness, public health pest
control, and waste sorting at source.
“This initiative reflects Tadweer’s vision of creating a sustainable environment and providing the best services in a healthy and pest-free environment. We strive to achieve the best in health and safety, especially since we operate according to the highest environmental security and safety standards on both the local and global levels,” HE EisaSaif Al Qubaisi, General Manager of
Tadweer.
Al Qubaisi congratulated the
citizens who received these generous offerings from the President that help spread happiness in the Emirate, highlighting that “our presence at the Abu Dhabi Municipality to raise awareness among homeowners during the keys handing over event comes in accordance with our mission of promoting environmental sustainability, and our social responsibility.”
Through this initiative, the Tadweer team aimed to promote cleanliness and public health pest control among homeowners. In addition, the Center urged citizens to call the toll free number 800555 to request waste sorting containers or removal of bulk waste such as cartons, nylon, cork and other material that stem from the process of home furnishing, as well as pest and rodent control, excluding agricultural pests.
Tadweer is the government entity that handles activities related to the development of waste management services, from collection, transport, treatment, and safe disposal. It spares no effort to provide support for events that aim to educate communities on the importance of preserving the environment.
