SCCI, China to strengthen economic ties

The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and an economic delegation from the People’s Republic of China, have discussed ways to develop and strengthen economic relations between the two countries in general and Sharjah Chamber in particular.
The two sided also discussed the possibility of laying the foundations for the establishment of cooperative relations between the Sharjah Chamber and the Committee of Handicraft Works affiliated to the Chinese National Centre for Cultural Promotion, and developing projects so as to enhance the supporting efforts of the chamber for small and medium enterprises, SMEs, in the emirate by cooperation and coordination with the concerned authorities of entrepreneurs in Sharjah.
This came when Khaled Bin Butti Al Hajri, Director-General of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, met with the Chinese delegation headed by Miao Lin, Vice President of China Middle East, in the presence of a number of senior officials of both sides. During the meeting, the two sides stressed the importance of exchanging visits and participation in events carried out by both the Sharjah Chamber and the Chinese Committee for Handicraft Works for the exchange of experiences, and transfer them to young aspirants to help establish private commercial and professional projects.
