Blue Bell Shipping LLC (BBS) is one of the vertically-integrated logistics management and forwarding company and also one of the longest established shipping companies in the UAE. Blue Bell Shipping LLC was founded by Pradeep Menon in 1987 with the aim of supporting the industry with specialised sea, air and logistics services. BBS team is headed by the General Manager, VK Rajendran, who has been playing a major role in the growth of the company over the years
The logistic company has vastly expanded with branch offices located in DAFZA, JAFZA and in Fujairah Port and also diversified from Freight Forwarding to Procurement and Vessel Agency.
“We endeavor to provide a customised service to our clients and this has been our strategy for years. Our aim is to provide personalised service to our clients. The most important part of the organisation is teamwork, and we are proud to say our long serving team members have been the key to success of BBS. We are also providing a wide range of services including project cargo, hazardous cargo movements besides the normal warehousing and freight forwarding activities, all under one roof,” said VK Rajendran, GM, BBS.
Being based in Dubai, gave the company the impetus to grow with the vision of Dubai, ably supported by the excellent sea, air and logistics infrastructure that was developed there.
Since the time of inception, the company have progressed and expanded their freight forwarding operations to include project shipments, air charters, rig movements, including movement of dangerous goods and reefer cargos.
Over 29 years, Blue Bell Shipping LLC has been consistently providing efficient and cost-effective total logistics solutions to valuable its clients worldwide, and with the vast network of agents, associates and offices, the company assures of complete seamless services, calling it ‘end-to-end’ solution. “Given the market conditions, consolidate present business, strategic reductions, targeting potential segments in the African region, until overall market conditions get better,” he added.

Talking about the expansion plans Rajendran said, “Warehousing will be expanded to include chemical storage with complete 3PL support, besides offering specialised land transport
