Pioneering technology services discussed at STME’s Insight Day

As part of its tradition and vision, STME, the Middle East’s leading IT solutions provider and systems integrator (SI), headquartered in Dubai, recently concluded its 2016 Insight Day. STME’s leading partners and top and middle management from across the Middle East participated in this high-profile event at Ras al Khaimah in UAE.
The Insight Day was structured around internal sessions, workshops and team building exercises. Additionally, there were sessions on CTO Technology Vision and Unified Compute Platform and Portfolio conducted by NetApp and Hitachi Data Systems (HDS) respectively, two important STME partners.
It also provided opportunities for discussions on formulating pioneering services for technology adaption by customers in MENA, developments in technology, and a sharing of knowledge on how these can best benefit STME’s strategic goals. The event detailed the growth, success, and challenges faced and experience by STME in 2015 with a goal to outline the way ahead in 2016.
“Our purpose in having a day where top and middle management of sales, presales, and support, come together with our partners is to usher a sense of camaraderie that will lead to brain storming new ideas, and processes for the coming year, along with canvassing technology updates and products from our partners. As this inaugural event was successful, we will definitely plan a bigger event with representation of more of our partners for the next year’s edition,’’ commented Ayman Al Bayaa, CEO of STME.
Graham Porter, NetApp MENA Channel Manager, said, “NetApp was delighted to be involved in STME’s 2016 Insight event. We shared our vision of where the market is moving and the importance of our data fabric offering which allows customers to combine on premise along with cloud and hybrid cloud, which is unique to NetApp.
