Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) on Monday
announced that over 800 media representatives from around the world will cover the upcoming editions of the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX), and Naval Defence Exhibition (NAVDEX) 2017.
Held in collaboration with UAE Armed Forces under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, IDEX and NAVDEX 2017 will run at ADNEC from February 19-23.
Saeed bin Khadim Al Mansouri, Director of IDEX and NAVDEX 2017, said, “As part of our efforts to upgrade facilities in line with continued growth of specialised exhibitions and conferences sector in Abu Dhabi, we have set up a permanent media centre at ADNEC
to host press briefings for events held here. Given the crucial role media plays in promoting Abu Dhabi’s business tourism sector, it is our priority to simplify their task through providing seamless access to state-of-the-art facilities.â€
