Lt. General Dahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chairman of Police and Public Security in Dubai, and Mattar Al Tayer, Director-General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on protecting the safety of transport sector, its users, and facilities in Dubai.
Nasir Hamad Bu Shehab, CEO of Strategy and Corporate Governance Sector at RTA and Colonel Obaid Saeed Al Hathbor, Director of TransportationSecurity at Dubai Police, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective departments.
The MoU underscores keenness of the two parties to coordinate efforts in protecting and securing safety of users and facilities of transport systems in Dubai. They expressed keenness to discharge their roles according to respective tasks and responsibilities defined in the legislation and regulations.
