In his capacity as Ruler of Dubai, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum issued Resolution No. (13) of 2016 on the formation of the Board of Dubai
International Marine Club.
Pursuant to the Resolution, the new Board is chaired by Ahmad Saeed bin Meshar. The other members of the Board are Ali Nasser bin Haballa, Vice Chairman; Hurraiz Al Murr bin Hurraiz; Mohamed Abdulla Hareb; Jamal Zael bin Kreshan; Adnan Ali Al Abbar; and Ibrahim Sultan Al Hadad.
According to the Resolution, the Board will serve for a renewable term of three years. The Resolution stated that the Board will discharge its functions under the instructions of President of the Club HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the Dubai Sports Council. The Board is subject to all rules and regulations applicable to the Dubai Sports Council and the Emirate of Dubai.
Furthermore, the Resolution annuls Administrative Resolution No (1) of 2016 regarding the formation of the Board of Dubai International Marine Club and any other legislation that contradicts or challenges its articles. This Resolution is considered valid from the date of issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.
