Links Group receives ‘Best Small Business’ award

Links Group, one of the UAE’s leading providers of commercial facilitation and advisory services, on March 21 was awarded the ‘Best Small Business’ accolade at the inaugural FinanceME Business Vision Awards for its continuous development as a top performing SME.
Links Group received the accolade from Robin Amlot, CEO of CPI Financial and Georgina Enzer, Managing Editor or CEO of CPI Financial during an official awards ceremony at the Jumeirah Emirates Tower Hotel. Launched by the publication FinanceME, the awards have been designed to identify and celebrate the best performance by SMEs within specific business sectors from start-ups to those with 250 plus employees.
Established in 2002, Links Group partners, protects and enables foreign companies to enter the UAE and Qatar markets while safeguarding their status as business owners. Combining business acumen with robust legal counsel, Links Group ensures its clients are protected at all times, and that they can build a business which they own and control. It was the first company of its kind to be endorsed by the Government of Dubai through a strategic alliance with the Foreign Investment Office (FDI) of the Dubai Economic Department.
In 2015, Links Group recorded a 55 per cent increase in new business, two thirds of which came from foreign investors establishing a commercial presence in the UAE for the first time. The other 20 per cent came from existing UAE-registered businesses wanting to restructure their companies using the corporate nominee partnership structure. Governed by a stringent corporate governance framework covering an ethics policy, a remuneration and fiscal committee and external financial and legal audits, Links Group ensures that all stakeholders in the business—staff, shareholders, clients and partners—operate in a fully transparent manner.
