The Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development (KFED), in coordination and cooperation with Dubai SME, showcased 10 innovative Emirati projects at the Small and Medium Enterprises Exhibition (SME Expo), organised by the National Program for Small and Medium Enterprises and Projects.
The expo was held at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center under the patronage of Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy and Chairman of Small and Medium Enterprises Council.
Mouza Al Nasri, Acting Chief Executive Officer, Khalifa Fund, said, “This year, we showcased five successful projects done by our nationals and supported by the fund. These projects cover different sectors, including education, ICT, electronic protection services, advertising, and many more.”
Among the five projects owned by Emirati entrepreneurs, supported by KFED, and featured in this year’s SME Expo, was one by Marwa Al Mansoori, who created an innovative app for the aesthetic and medical cosmetology industry called “Malena App”. It is touted as the first online destination for people who are looking for aesthetic services and trusted plastic surgeons. This app connects customers and medical service providers on a transparent and well-managed platform.
