Are you tired of hiring a cab, or driving your car across the city for weekend getaways? Have you been longing for a closer but comprehensive view of the Emirates capital or wanting to offer the same to your overseas guest visiting you? In short, if you want to experience Abu Dhabi in a new way, it’s high time you hopped on to a Jalboot.
Jalboot Marine Network LLC (Jalboot), which operates Abu Dhabi’s only private scheduled passenger ferry service, is a perfect option one must try.
After launching the first service in October last year, on its popularity and demand, the company has expanded its passenger services to include Hilton Corniche evening cruises and a stop at Abu Dhabi’s upmarket Al Bandar area.
Further geographic expansion is being eyed with Jalboot looking for partnership opportunities during its first participation in next month’s Dubai International Boat Show.
“We are constantly looking for ways to add further value to the existing service and to expand our reach further afield and believe the Boat Show could provide partnership leads which will enable us to achieve this,†said Mohammed Roestali, General Manager of Jalboot.
With the addition of Al Bandar to its daily scheduled services, Jalboot now calls at five key locations within the UAE capital and its immediate surrounds, providing residents and visitors with a unique waterside perspective of the destination.
“Al Bandar is a very popular waterfront residential development and through its quality hospitality offering is increasingly becoming a sought-after call for tourists,†said Roestali.
Jalboot currently offers its passenger services aboard the custom-built, Al Dana ferry which can seat up to 40 passengers in business-class style seating and air-conditioned comfort.
The new Jalboot evening cruise along Abu Dhabi’s world-renowned Corniche, boards at the Hiltonia Beach Club giving passengers the opportunity to see the glorious Arabian Gulf sunset.
In addition, Jalboot has partnered with Al Gusto, the boutique Abu Dhabi café that serves up the flavours of Italy through a blend of premium, high quality food, for their on-board food services. Jalboot passengers can now buy Al Gusto snacks and
refreshments during their ferry cruise.
