in5, a startup incubator founded by Tecom Group, announced a 27-hour ‘Block-chain Challenge’ hackathon, inviting tech enthusiasts to address a practical real-life challenge. Divided into teams, participants will be challenged to build and present functioning prototypes, leveraging blockchain technology.
Powered by Oracle, a global leader in innovative technologies, and a key contributor in the regional digital transformation journey, the in5 Blockchain Challenge Hacka- thon is hosted in collaboration with Dubai Internet City as a strategic partner, and Emirates NBD as an enterprise partner. In line with the Dubai Bloc-kchain Strategy that seeks to transform 50 per cent of government transactions by 2020, the hackat-hon seeks to identify and foster local talent and support them in creating innovative solutions, in addition to bridging the gap between the government, enterprise and academia.

You will network with like-minded people and learn from blockchain experts who will support you to make your idea a success. In the final round, all teams will pitch their prototypes to a panel of judges and stand a chance to win valuable cash and in-kind prizes.
