IFFA, Texcare to showcase global trends

IFFA 2016 — the leading international trade fair organised by Messe Frankfurt and Texcare International in Dubai — expects a solid representation from Middle East trade buyers and decision makers.
The event will focus on the meat processing and textile
industries.
IFFA is a premier platform for the entities of the meat sector to share their knowledge and expertise in the field. It is expected to attract some 960 exhibitors from around 50 countries, including all market leaders, to present their top innovations at the fair.
Wolfgang Marzin, President and CEO of Messe Frankfurt told Emirates Business, “IFFA is the most important innovation platform for the sector and the leading international trade fair to focus on the subject of meat. Leading manufacturers from over 140 countries are anticipated, they will show new products, technologies and solutions for all stages of the meat-processing chain on around 110,000 square metres of exhibition space in the region of 60,000 trade visitors.”
“This IFFA 2016 Top Theme offers an overview of the current state-of-the-art in the meat industry. At the fair, the visitor will be able to discover the opportunities for networking machines and processes with the aid of modern information, sensor and control technology, the international quality competitions, which are open to butchers from Germany and all over the world, represent another IFFA highlight,” said Marzin.
Moving towards the textile sector, Texcare International will run from June 11 to 16 at the Frankfurt exhibition complex. The textile industry is on course for continuous growth. The world’s leading trade fair for textile care will be showcasing innovations and new developments across the whole range of modern textile care to an international trade public on some 40,000 square metres of exhibition space – around 30 percent more than the previous year.
Wolfgang Marzin, also informed that the International Quality Competitions of the German Butchers’ Association will be held at IFFA. The participants at the event can measure the variety and quality of their artisan products against those of international competitors. It is not only the cups, medals and certificates that make the competitions attractive. They are also an important tool that butchers can use for checking and improving the quality of their products.
