Hamdan inspects devp projects in Dalma

HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region,
visited Dalma Island, toured a number of development facilities and projects, and inspected the progress in various vital and service sectors on the
island.
He began his tour by visiting the ports of new port project in Dalma Island and was briefed on the work progress of the port’s infrastructure to serve the local community and facilitate the work of the fishermen.
During his tour, he inspected the projects that facilitate the movement of the populations and upgrade their services to enhance the maritime traffic in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
Sheikh Hamdan also toured the site of the tourist resort being implemented by an Emirati investor which comprises 30 chalets and camping locations built on the traditional style of the UAE, as well as other entertainment utilities.
He also inspected a number of projects in the island and directed officials and staff to plant saplings that resist climatic factors and reduce the use of water.
Sheikh Hamdan also offered Asr Prayer at the Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Mosque in Dalma. Later, he visited UAE citizen, Khamees Ateeq Al Mazrouei, at his residence as part of his initiatives to meet Emiratis.
Al Mazrouei and his family welcomed the visit, praising the attention given by the leadership to communicate with the UAE’s citizens. Sheikh Hamdan and the audience exchanged cordial talks which reflected the strong bonds between the leadership and Emiratis.
Sheikh Hamdan was accompanied by Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Board Chairman of the Presidential Flight, Major General Faris Khalaf Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Committee for Festivals and Cultural and Heritage Programmes (CFCHP), and a number of officials.
