The Integrated Transport Centre (ICT), at the Department of Transport Abu Dhabi has announced that all surface parking bays will be free of charge on New Year holiday starting from Tuesday, January 1, 2019 to Wednesday, January 2, till 7:59 p.m.
The ICT has urged the public not to park their vehicles in prohibited areas and not to block vehicles or traffic flow. The public should adhere to resident permit parking bays regulations from 09:00 p.m. to 08:00 a.m.
All public buses will operate as usual on Tuesday January 1, except services no. 40, 42, 67, 69 and 65 will not transport to celebration areas in Maryah Island as the road will close from 9:00 p.m. to midnight on Monday December 31. All Customer Service Centres will be closed on the New Year’s holiday and will resume work on January 2.
