Foreign investors purchased AED 793.2 million worth of shares on Dubai Financial Market (DFM) and sold AED 741.1 million over the week, DFM said on Thursday.
Net foreign investment on the market reached AED52.2mn as aggregate buy. Value of shares bought by foreigner investors comprised 44.9% of the total value of stocks traded during the last five days, while value of stocks sold by foreign investors during the same period represented 41.9% of stocks traded during the period, a DFM press release said on the market activities for the current week.
The value of stocks bought by institutional investors reached AED772.3mn comprising 43.7% of the total value of stocks traded. The value of stocks sold by institutional investors during the period reached AED747.5mn which constitutes 42.3% of the total value of stocks traded during the week.
