First-of-its-kind Maersk Training centre launched

HE Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Chairman of the Dubai Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation and Chairman of Dubai Maritime City Authority (DMCA), headed the inauguration ceremony of the Maersk Training centre headquartered in Dubai World Central. H.E. Bin Sulayem cut the ribbon for the official launch of the first-of-its-kind training centre in the Middle East, one of the leading initiatives of Maersk Training, a subsidiary of Denmark-based Maersk Group and a leading provider of training and educational services for the energy and maritime industries.
HE Bin Sulayem said: “The Maersk Training centre is of great significance as it supports national efforts towards developing maritime human resources and equipping a generation of professionals with the knowledge and skills to achieve excellence and leadership while promoting Dubai as a global maritime hub.”
