DWE signs pact with NMC

Dubai Women Establishment (DWE) and NMC Healthcare on Thursday signed a partnership agreement at the Government of Dubai Media Office. According to the agreement, NMC, the Platinum partner will support a pack of innovative health initiatives during the Global Women’s Forum Dubai 2016.
Dr. Oz, Vice-Chair and Professor of Surgery at Columbia University and directs the Cardiovascular Institute and Complementary Medicine Program at New York Presbyterian Hospital, will be one of the key panelists at the Global Women’s Forum Dubai, to take place on 23th and 24th February 2016 at the Madinat Jumeirah Hotel.
Dr Oz is a world-renowned cardiothoracic surgeon, author and television personality.
DWE’s Chairperson and Managing Director Mona Ghanem Al Marri affirmed DWE’s commitment to support women’s aspirations in all aspects of life by providing educational and training programmes to help them further engage positively in the development of the community.
Al Marri said that providing adequate healthcare for women is one of the most important topics that the Global Women’s Forum Dubai 2016 will address. The Forum will offer a platform for international health and medical experts to discuss critical issues. The event will also be an opportunity to highlight the latest developments in the field of women’s health. Al Marri said that collaborating with leading specialized organizations in the field will add value to the Forum’s discussions. Increasing health awareness among women is high on the Forum’s agenda, she added.

During the ‘80 is the new 50’ plenary, one of the five key panel discussions taking place at Global Women’s Forum Dubai, Dr. Oz will address the life expectancy of women and how women are living longer, compared even to men. The session will discuss how women can live better for longer. Dr. Oz will share his thoughts on the changes and adjustments required in modern lifestyles to manage health issues as well as his medical insights on living a long, active and healthy life.
Dr. Oz will discuss how the healthcare industry is rapidly changing with the digital landscape and share new innovative approaches and techniques to further enhance women’s health.
Dr. Oz is a leading health professional on TV and radio, hosting the three-time Daytime Emmy Award-winning “The Dr. Oz Show”. He was previously featured as a health expert on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” for six seasons, spanning over 60 episodes.
