Dubai Crown Prince meets Queen Rania

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, met with Queen Rania Abdullah of Jordan, and Christine Lagarde, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, on the sidelines of the Global Women’s Forum in Dubai which opened on Tuesday.
The meetings, which took place at the Jumeirah Majlis, also included the official speakers of the two-day event.
Sheikh Hamdan welcomed the guests and wished them success in their efforts to achieve their goals in empowering women and their positive participation towards UAE’s sustainable development.
The Crown Prince of Dubai and the guests discussed women’s issues at the regional and international levels and ways of providing logistical support to support women on various sectors and levels.
The meeting was also attended by Dr. Amal Abdullah Al Qubaisi, Speaker of Federal National Council, Obaid bin Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation, Dr. Sultan bin Ahmad Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State, Shamma bint Sohail Faris Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, along with a number of officials.
