DPSS issues statement on its functioning, future goals

DPS Society (DPSS) is non-profit, non-proprietary, private, educational organisation established in the year 1949 in India. It is a world reputed society operating a total of 214 number of schools with 203 schools in India and 11 schools abroad.
The society has been imparting exemplary education to the community for the past seven decades while baring the motto ‘Service Before Self’ at the heart of its endeavors.
The society is a plethora of values, systems and relationships continuously developing to pioneer the education industry.
On January 28, 2000, the Society had given a franchisee license to a school in Sharjah which was obligated to register as per UAE laws with the consent of DPS Society, registered under the title Delhi private school, Sharjah.
Further, due to the unprecedented success of the brand value, upon request by the same management to establish a new school with the same name in Dubai, the DPS Society issued its affiliation to start the school from February 13, 2002. A third school by the same management in the same name was established carrying the same terms and conditions until it was forcefully shut down due to mismanagement of the school. These agreements expired on March 31, 2017.

There after DPS decided to sanction their franchise for operations in UAE to a joint enterprise comprising PACE GROUP – a successful educational group in UAE, Kuwait and India and RK Holdings, a prominent education group successfully operating 6 Delhi Public School franchises in Bangalore and Mysore with 22000+ students.
Delhi Private School Ajman commenced operations in April 2017, which is one of the largest CBSE Schools in UAE with state of the art facilities, including 4 swimming pools, one thousand plus capacity auditorium, sports and games facilities, interactive smart classrooms, innovative robotics lab and many modern amenities. The curriculum, conducive learning environment, well trained and experienced faculty of DPS Ajman conforms to the high standards of DPS Society’s hallmark for innovation and personalized care of students.
However, it has come to our notice that many confusions, misrepresentations and misleading facts regarding the existence of affiliation of the Sharjah and Dubai schools with the DPS Society have been circulating amongst the public of UAE.
We hereby clarify that Delhi Private School Ajman is the only institution affiliated to the DPS Society in UAE. We also clarify that schools in Dubai and Sharjah continue to use our trade name, logo and motto without having any relationship with the DPS Society. We would also like to inform the public that these issues are pending for adjudication against these schools for the same before the Honorable courts of the UAE under the basis that their use of the name is deemed illegal, unauthentic and unethical.
Further, recently announced DPS, Ras Al Khaimah has no relationship with the DPS Society and do not represent its education model. The DPS Society has granted a franchise License to the joint enterprise comprising PACE Group and RK Holding for a new school in Ras Al Khaimah in the year 2016 itself and which will be imparting the education model of the DPS Society and will commence construction shortly.
