DFM event to discuss future of technology

The fifth installment of the Digital Media Forum (DMF) and the third edition of MENA Digital Awards (MDA) will take place on April 26 at The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi, Serdaal Ballroom. This season will be launched under the theme of “The Future Restarts at 2016 DMF,” which will comprise of ‘Media and Performance’, ‘Creative & Tech’, ‘Panel Discussions’ and various high-profile interviews.
DMF represents Dubai’s biggest gathering of top influencers and leaders from the MENA (Middle East & North Africa) region and around the world. The event provides a networking platform for some of the world’s foremost digital and social media advocates to discuss the future of technology and business solutions, in addition to discovering the latest and trendiest marketing knowledge within the digital world. In addition, MDA is a bespoke awards show designed to promote digital innovation and media.
The event will kick off its session with an opening speech by Najla Semaan Mazboudi, CEO of SpotOn Media Services and Events and Founder of the Digital Media Forum and MENA Digital Awards, followed by a keynote speech from Osman Sultan, CEO of Du. Topics of discussion during this year’s event will include panel discussions on ‘The Impact of technology on Brands,’ ‘The Start-uprising: the Next Arab Revolution,’ ‘Your Live Connection to Culture,” among others.

We at DMF & MDA aim to shed light on the digital realm by discussing, challenging and recognising the past, present and future,” said Najla Semaan Mazboudi, CEO of SpotOn Media Services and Events and Founder of the Digital Media Forum and MENA Digital Awards.
This year’s speakers will also include Yousef Tuqan Tuqan, Vice President, Marketing & Analytics – Careem and Heba Alsamt, Digital Media Director at DCN (Dubai Channels Network), in addition to a ‘fireside chat’ aptly named: ‘How digital and technology can contribute to businesses in an economic downturn’ between prominent advertising and media figureheads, including Tarek Daouk, Regional Managing Director MediaVest MENA at Starcom MediaVest, Mounir Harfouche, CEO Mullen Iowe MENA and Oussama Gholmieh, Managing Director at Impact Proximity, along with Ramzi Haddad, Managing Director Carat MENA.
