During the gala dinner at the closing of the International Conference on Medical Regulation, Dr. Reem Othman, Saudi German Hospital Group UAE’s CEO, received an honour, in the presence of HE Humaid Al Qatami, Director General of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), in recognition of the hospital’s efforts and sponsorship of the conference, which was held in the October 7, at Dubai World Trade Centre, under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance, and President of Dubai Health Authority.
Commenting on the participation in the conference which was held under the theme “Empowering Regulation with Innovation and Evidence”, Dr Othman said that the group’s sponsorship of this conference comes from our belief in the necessity of effective contribution to the development of the health sector, and in harmony with Dubai Health Authority’s approach to develop medical services and raise the level of health care, in order to make Dubai a reliable Medical Tourism destination through its capabilities and qualified cadres that meet patients’ needs. In addition, participating in such conferences is an opportunity to exchange expertise and suggestions that help in improving health practices for health care providers.
