Ajman Tourism launches visitor guide in Braille

AJMAN / WAM

The Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) launched Ajman Visitors’ Guide in Braille, the tactile writing system used by the blind and visually impaired.
The move follows the directives of HH Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, and HH Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman.
Aimed at assisting tourists and residents who are blind and visually impaired, the guides are written in both English and Arabic in collaboration with the Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs in Abu Dhabi.
