Abdullah bin Zayed, Romanian counterpart discuss bilateral ties

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Luminița Odobescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania, in a phone call, discussed various aspects of bilateral relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Romania and explored ways to strengthen them, in the interest of the two countries and their people.
During the phone call, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed praised the distinguished Emirati-Romanian relations and expressed his best wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the friendly Republic of Romania.
The two ministers also discussed current developments in the Middle East, particularly in the Gaza Strip and its surroundings, as well as the latest developments on regional and international levels, exchanging views on these matters.
During the phone call, the ministers stressed the importance of moving forward towards achieving a sustainable ceasefire to protect the lives of all civilians and ensure sufficient delivery of humanitarian aid to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people.
