Sheikh Mohammed tours GITEX 2017

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, visited GITEX Technology Week which kicked-off on Sunday at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).

Mohammed toured the exhibition and was briefed on the world’s latest technologies that are
being showcased by the biggest technology companies.
HH Sheikh Mohammed was
accompanied by Khalifa Saeed Suleiman, Director-General of the Department of Protocol and Hospitality in Dubai, Major General Talal Hamid Belhoul AlFalasi, and Helal Saeed Almarri, Director-General of Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing.
The Dubai Ruler expressed his pleasure at attending the international annual event, which he described as ‘a creative forum that brings together the majority of international companies with entities and individuals in the UAE and countries in the region’. More than 4,000 companies from 71 countries around the world met at GITEX, where amazing technological prospects were discussed, along with how robotics and artificial intelligence and the Internet collectively promise smarter cities and a life made much easier.
