Etihad Rail, the developer and operator of the UAE’s multi-billion dollar national rail network, announced the signing of MoU with Al Safa Transport, a trucking and transportation services provider with operations across the Middle East.
Signed by CEO of Etihad Rail, Eng. Faris Saif Al Mazrouei and Managing Director of Al Safa Transport, Nabeel Chaudhry, the agreement will pave way for efficient movement of cargo using the UAE’s vast railway network across the UAE. The signing is yet another example of the opportunity rail presents for businesses seeking environmentally sustainable and cost effective methods by which to meet their transportation requirements. Encompassing rail and trucking modes of transportation into an integrated system will further the capabilities of the UAE’s transport industry.
